First option:

Mount Carmel / Cape Town tour

We offer a 10-day Photographic Safari in South Africa. Day 1 to 5 All included

 

 

DAY 1

Arrive at Kimberley airport for pick up. Diamond tour. Do a Tour of the biggest man-made hole in the world where the first diamonds were discovered occurring in a volcanic pipe. Today the diamond-bearing ground around the world in that form is called Kimberlite. Exploring an old diamond town, the history of diamond mining and a world class of display of all color of diamonds shapes and sizes. Leave for Mount Carmel Lodge. An hour and a half drive.

 

DAY 2

Sleep in late after a long journey, have Breakfast/Brunch, go out for a game drive to see our wonderful landscape and see the majestic animals on the plains. About 17 different species antelope to see. We will stop at Boesmans hole the third deepest sink-hole in the world but the largest underground water mass so far in the world come back and relax by the pool or in Lapa. Go out for the afternoon game drive. Enjoy sundowners on a hill enjoying the spender of the plains. Come back to a camp-fire where drinks will be served and enjoy our South African hospitality with a great dinner.

 

DAY 3

Early morning Coffee/Tea with our traditional Rusks (like a bread biscuit), off on a game drive. Back for Brunch, Take you to see the Wonder Work Caves the oldest cave in the world where man has lived, small museum, Bushman paintings, then on to Kuruman for some shopping, Moffat Mission the history of an early Missionary Station and one of Africa’s great explorer Livingston who discovered the Victoria Falls.

Back for a game drive. Drinks around camp-fire and dinner at the Boesmans Hole.

 

DAY 4

Early morning Coffee/Tea with our traditional Rusks, off on a game drive. Come back for brunch and then relax.

At about 3 in the afternoon: about an hours drive, we will go to another Game Ranch to see Rhino, Buffalo, Sables Roans, Giraffes and a lot more different antelope, Back to Mount Carmel for dinner around the camp-fire.

 

DAY 5

This is a day of travel, with 3 options to choose from: One, is a trip to Cape Town. Two, is a Trip to the Semi Desert Kgalagardi Frontier Park, Three, is a trip to the Kruger National Park

 

Day 6/7/8/9

Cape Town; What can I say just beautiful, wine tours, a stunning road trip around the peninsula with one of the world’s most scenic drives along the coastline ending up at Cape Point Nature Reserve where the two oceans meet. Robin Island, the famous Water Font is a working Harbour (shopping, restaurants, boat trips, the starting point for the Robin Island Tour). Going up Table Mountain and beautiful beaches.

Here I am responsible for the transport, accommodation, and breakfast, all other meals, drinks, excursions, trips are for your own pocket. You decide what you want to do for the day see how the weather turns out for Cape Town that day. I am your tour guide.

DAY 6/7/8/9

We will stay in the Kruger Park in Chalets or just outside the park because there is a lot to see outside the park too. If outside we just drive into the park for the days for game viewing. Well, what must I say about the famous park. There we will see all the big five and much more. Very difficult to put it in words, wow experience with all the game around to see. Because we are staying in or just outside the park, you will also hear the animal calls at night while sitting around the camp-fire. It is self-catering so all the food and drinks are also all included, but if you want to have a meal in the camp restaurant, it will be for your own pocket. Again book well in advance.

 

DAY 10

Drop off Johannesburg  Airport (OR Thambo International Airport)

DAY 6/7/8

Kgalagardi Frontier Park; Our main objection for this park is to see the desert Lion, Cheetah, and Leopard. You will also see some plain animals, mostly Gemsbuck, Red Hartebeest, Blue wildebeest and Springbuck which the cats prey on. We'll have an early game drive, then come back for brunch and then hit the road again looking for the cats. We have packed breakfast and lunch and we will stay out for the day. Always back late afternoon where we will barbecue around a camp fire. Cooking around the camp fire is a tradition in Africa. You will hear the lion roar at night while sitting around the camp fire. You have a choice where you would like to go camping: either in the dunes or in Chalets. Must be booked well in advance, because the Chalets are very popular in high season. All self-catering, all included in this trip.

 

DAY 9

Back to Mount Carmel or an option to travel south and stay overnight at the Augrabies Falls National Park, where you will see our biggest waterfall in South Africa. If time allows it.

 

DAY 10

Drop off Kimberley Airport.
